Mine is a little bit obvious, well if you know what tmj disorder is.

That is your jaw joint, temporomandibular, which is the joint most often used in your body.

So when my headaches started ten years ago, I was told that I had problems with that joint, which was causing the headaches.

The joint was fixed but the headaches have remained over the last ten years.

So when I joing the chronic pain forum I used tmjpain because that is the pain that brought me here.

And I love it here.

HW gets me thru my day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love sitting in my recliner watching TV, playing computer games, or coming here after I get home from work.
My mother used to force me to turn off the TV as a little kid, make me get out of the house, and play. mad

I think I share a blood supply with this chair somedays. smilewinkgrin

I have endometriosis and scarring. On a good day, I feel like someone stuck a dagger in my side. The day I signed up was a good day. Had it been a bad day, it would have been something like "jackhammer" or "spear".

golitho is short for Go Lithography. I love art and am involved in printmaking. Lithography is where you draw or paint directly onto limestone then make a print from that onto paper. Its a very seductive surface to work on. Its also one of the specialist areas I work and teach in, along with screenprinting, relief printing, etc.

So thats the story behind my name, I bet you'rd never have guessed it!

I bought a new 2008 Harley Road King Screaming Eagle...thus the name Screaming Eagle! tongue

This is also a Anniversary bike, and they only made 1600 of them world wide.....the only problem is, that I was only able to put 5500 miles on it before my health got so bad, I had to park it. cry

I'm going to give myself 7 to 8 more months of recovery, and if I still am in this much pain, the bike will have to go, and my ridding days will be done for good. cry

I do love to grill and smoke meats and such, so I will have other things I can do in life, and of course the most important person in my life is my wife.
We will be married 4yrs this Oct, and we are in love just as much, if not more than when we first met. Yep!...the fire still burns brightly! smilewinkgrin

I guess my name pretty much follows along with the rest I am Retired US Army I have PTSD and a back injury..

White beard I really liked the photo gallery it was interesting to put a face to a name or in your case a beard to a name.. LOL.. That is an impressive beard and I have to say I am a little jealous of it just to get facial hair that looks like most peoples 5 o'clock shadow I have to work at it for about 3 weeks..

I have always loved Hello Kitty, I even got her tattooed on me when I was 19 years old on my leg. My whole room use to be decorated with Hello Killy (blanket, sheets, pillows, alarm clock, stuffed animal, ECT..) but of course I grew up, got a much bigger bed, so I gave everything to my daughter (who doesnt care for hello kitty mad ) and only kept one stuffed animal to put in the middle of my pillows. And I was 22 years old when I joined (geeze, 5 years ago...). But that's pretty much it...

I have had my user name for awile (it's also my email name). Back in my wilder days a friend of mine told me I talked alot (and was very mouthy) lol so hence damouthy1. I think I was trying to go for that whole bronx, italian thing with da in front of it..lol

Mine is pretty easy to figure out. Scarred is what my body is and its pretty much for the rest of my life. 8 inch scar on my lower back tells of my horrible back pain.....one on my belly about 3 inches from my belly button....another where I had my hyst....precancerous cells in 96 left me with no other choice but to give up having kids.

I also have two 8 inch scars on both knees from a two year long stent with bad knees that were dislocating. And last but not least is my left ankle that has a 6 inch scar where, when I was a younger me hehehe.....I kept twisting my ankle and caused the tendons and ligs to break down. When the doctor went in to fix it....the tendon running up the inside of my ankle and the lig that helps keep the ankle stable fell apart in his hands.

The ankle was my second surgery.....soooooo you see why i am named Scarred_For_Life

Mine is also pretty boring, my dogs name is Radley (from To Kill a Mockingbird) and I call him Radles! Nothing to do with my facial pain at all, first thing to come to mind. In hindsight I can think of more approp names.

I am most surprised by SE, my imagination went wild on that one, now to find out it was your bike!

Well, Monty'sMom came from my puppy. He is a Boston Terrier Pug mix that we got the week that I found a new way to look at life here on HW. So hence, when we named the little love who found us Monty Moneybanks, I became Monty'sMom. I have two boys and another dog named Achilles, but for some reason Monty has gotten me moving, makes me laugh and has given our family a new outlook on life. He is a bundle of energy, giggles, wrinkles and joy. It just seemed appropriate for this new start.

Mine just comes from my dream car. A 1963 corvetter stingray. I tried some other names first but it always said ...already in use...than I tried some like..handsome..good lookin and it kept saying..who are you kiddin...lol so I finally used stingray. That's my story and I'm stickin to it....lol My real name is Randy

Skeye ---> 1) it sounds pretty & it incorporates "eye," and that is where my CP is
2) just always loved the name "sky/skylar" (for an animal)
3) I've always been very outdoorsy & love star gazing (aka looking at the sky)
4) I'm a huge science geek & I love Star Trek and wondering about what is out there in space

Some people on the forum have asked in the past if Sky (or Skeye) is my real name. It is not. But I rather not put my name out on a public forum. Private email is another thing (some of you do know me by my real name), but I'd just as well be anonymous here.

An ex boyfriend of mine called me Bunky for our whole relationship - a cute nickname when we became "bunkmates" if you will. I added the Ms to it to distinguish that I was a female, as I guess there was a male named Bunky on one of the reality TV shows.

I've used it for many years for anything forum or contest related. I explained the nickname to my husband when we first got together (about a year after my ex left me for another woman) and he was fine with me using it, although he doesn't use it as a pet name for me (he calls me Little One or Wifey instead).

White Beard, I didn't know there was an album with pictures of folks from here...I love your White Beard!!!

Joy is my real name. My sister named me 5 yrs before I was born when she was 4 yrs old. My big brother was just born his name starts with "J" so she thought it's be fun for my name to be close to his. When I was born my parents said I was already named by her.
I don't go by it normally. I perfer my middle name and use Joy for doctors. It's easier than explaining everytime that I go by my middle name.
