I posted this on a popular social networking site, I heard my son say it this morning!

Dear God,

Thank you for the rain today and cooler temperatures. Could the runny nose, stuffy head, and aching joints that come with it go back where the sun doesn't shine? Thank you! Amen

He is 11, and I am thinking that maybe he hears a little too much of Mom complaining to God about aches and pains?

Hoping all my extended family gets at least a little giggle and has a nice, low pain day! It is time to hit the schoolbooks on a rainy Monday.

I agree with your son, I wish the cooler weather could stick this viral nasty stuff where the sun doesnt shine too....I've been sick for a week and half with a headache, stuff/runny nose, sore throat, fever, body aches, nausea, nasty cough...I'm ready to start getting well, but I feel like I'm gonna be sick forever....Blah.....I hate viral syndromes and viral pharyngitis cause you can't take anti-biotics for it, just have to let it run it's course....
