Hey Everyone,

Things have settled down a bit at school now for the next few weeks so i should have a spare half hour every night to come check up on you all here :) I hope to get to know you all better and hear about whats been going on! My family friend who is like a dad to me passed away on wednesday night so things have been pretty tough and horrible the last few days but hopefully will get better as we get stronger, I thought coming on here would give me a distraction and lots of support and I miss it so so so much! I will let you know more about my health in the next week but first of all I would love to hear about all you have been doing so please reply to this and let me know how you are going even if I haven't really spoken to you before!

wb I am relatively new to the forum been here for 8 days and I love it. So sorry to hear about your adopted dad passing. It hurts alot at this early stage.I got injured on a luggage belt loader at an airport back in Oct 2010. It has been mutiple surgeries and nonstop pain in my left leg. I still need 2 more surgeries /one in July and one in feb next year. Walk with a walker very slowly/pain is slowly decreasing but still rears its ugly head . Just started taking opana er 10 mg . It is a morphine based drug and I dont care that it is a narcotic. i hurt so bad I thought I was going to go nuts. I will deal with withdrawal when rhat time comes around/if it ever comes.. I have to sleep and try to have some kind of life during the day but havent found that yet. Daytime is filled with pt and painand try to get myself something to eat which is hard with a walker.

Betsey, Great to meet you! But so sorry we had to meet because of this, I hate to hear you have gone through so much, but to hear that you have gone through all that and stayed so strong is amazing! Hope things go well with you, keep in touch :)
