Tina,
Thank you, I know that you would be here if you could.......seems like we said something like that a few months ago.
He wasn't in today, so I have a reprieve of a bit until Monday. I did leave a message for him to give me a call so I'm sure that Monday will be my day of reckoning... If I could run, I would....LOL
I know that I will get through this, I don't have another option but it is intimidating to know that paralysis lay on both sides of the equation, the only difference being when...
I just never thought that I would find myself here, but then again, none of us ever think that we will.
Driving! I have two now driving and it is a bit intimidating but it's really funny how one was afraid to get her license and the other couldn't wait until her birthday so that she could go right to motor vehicle..my oldest , on the other hand had her permit for a year before finally taking and failing her first road test......she took it again 5 weeks later and wasn't quite so cocky and passed.....I let her drive my van now , from time to time and you know what? It's kind of nice to have someone else available for pick ups and errands....the price she has to pay for using my car.....LOL
I was just thinking that the girls are about that age......it's amazing how fast the newborn time flies by and they become little persons in their own right. When you have time, how about some pictures? I loved those little full smile, just four tooth grins, with of course the mandatory drool..... It's simply amazing how those faces can give you all you need to get through just about anything.
You had the strength to get through it Tina, you just needed a little help standing up straight at times. Everyone does. What you went through to bring those little girls into this world was darned hard, and at times I know that it seemed that it wasn't going to be okay, but it was and it is. Those girls are very lucky that they have the mom they do, who fought the fight of her life to keep them safe and bring them into this world. You are a brave lady, my friend.
You are a great mom, a wonderful wife and even better friend....If more parents had bothered to be the kind of parents that you and your husband are, there wouldn't be as much scary stuff in this world. Sending your kids off to help others , well , that doesn't surprise me a bit.....look at the example you have set....You should be very , very proud of yourself, your family and your kids....they sure are of you.
Love you my friend,
Sandi
