Hello Bodmas101!
Welcome to the "Chronic Pain" forum!
As you can see, our members are very supporting and friendly, always willing to reach out to new and current members!
I do understand your question and may suffer some of the same symptoms as you. There are a number of possibilities, but we are bit cautious guessing as to what might be causing someones pain. There are just way too many variables, and of course we are not Dr's here. We basically support members who suffer from "Chronic Pain". The members are correct in advising you to seek professional help with you're medical problem, however it does not hurt to share some of our own experiences with you.
I for one suffer from Angina, Muscle Spasms, and Pleurisy, all related to chest pain. I have had one "Heart Attack"...so it can be unnerving at times. Every once in a while, my chest will get a strong muscle spasm, and I can make it worse or go away, just from adjusting my body position as you describe.
I guess a few questions, are...is it a sharp pain?...or would you describe it as a muscle spasm? You should be able to tell the difference. Does it feel like cramping? The bottom line is, you should indeed, have it checked out by you're PCD, and please don't put it off as it could be something very serious. It may be something as simple as a pinched nerve, but no matter what the problem may be, don't delay in seeking professional help.
Again, we "Welcome" you here!..and hope you continue to positively engage the members here. Feel free anytime!...to post as often as you wish!
We really have a great support group here, and we believe it is the best on the web!
Take care,
SE
