Thank you all for your well wishes.
Luckflowers, I have no problem explaining as much as I can about hepititis C.
Hepititis C affects the liver, and can cause some liver damage, it is possible if the hep-c is active, the drug interferon is used to try to as far as I know, not cure, but slow down the process of the disease completely ruining your liver.
Hep-c can be gotten several different ways, it is a communicable disease, it is a life threatining disease. You can get it by having a sexual encounter with a person who has hep-c, it can also be gotten by sharing needles with someone who has hep-c. Sadly this disease is associated with heroin addicts in particular, as addicts will share needles if they are sick (withdrawal), I live near the District of Columbia, a large city that fortunatley has several places addicts can go to get clean needles.
I will tell you, I got this disease from the father of my youngest daughter, whom was a heroin addict, but at the time I met him almost 28 years ago, I did not know he was an addict, and of course he neglected to tell me. At the time I met him, I had no idea what the signs of an addict were. Believe me I now know more than I ever wanted to. I spent close to 26 years trying to beat out heroin, but she beat me every time.
Finally, I realized that heroin would always beat me, another woman, that I could have competed with, heroin I could not.
