Scarred...I'm so sorry you are suffering this much today. When was the last time they did an MRI on you? Is there a possibility of another Epidural in the future?
While I dont suffer the sciactica pain you and others do,...I do,... have one of those very sharp pains,... that drill's one to the floor 
..."one of those that no pain med will work on!" 
I can hear the despration in you're voice, and that you are looking for every possible solution...but have you considered that special diet that cuts out foods,.... that may cause some of the inflammation? My sister has been on this, and has had quite a bit of success with it.
also...have you considered a pain pump? I can't remember the med's you are on...is Oxycontin one of them?...and if so are you on them every 12hrs or 8hrs?......my Dr finally put me on them every 8hrs, and it is the first time,...or at least it seems that way...that I'm getting coverage around the clock.
My memory is terrible sometimes...but didn't you just get a new puppy too?...or was it Chartreux? I was thinking, one of you were struggling with bending over trying to take care of him. Not much bending over with a fusion is there! 
If this is the case then maybe you are irritating the Scatica.
Sorry, no suggestions, other than to get an appointment made, if it persist much longer.
Again sorry...we all know it's not fun at all...and pushes you to the very edge. If I could snap my fingers and make it better...I would do it in a flash for you.
