Hey Chartreux, so nice to hear from you. So sorry you aren't doing well! It always seems like we have bad reactions to the meds we really need. Such a bummer. I hope that bringing it down to every three weeks will work for you and still give you some relief.

Three falls in a month? That is scary! Hopefully you will get some answers regarding that also..take care and keep us posted when you can.

Hey Chart! Long time for me too! It's good to hear from old friends but sad to hear about your problems! We are getting older but not much better unfortunately! Hang in there old friend and No More Falling!!!!

Well, seems my pm doctor wants we to get a quad cane, so been looking at those,
and he wants to do regenerative injection therapy (prolotherapy) in my right knee
and lower back would be 60 injections 30 for each area....got a call out to see
my pm psychologists on friday...
and discount tires wants to scam me on tires, I have one tire with low tread, the others
are okay, the tires 2 have 28,000 miles on them and two have 25,000 miles on them and
these are supposed to get 60,000 miles on these tires, so I asked if they could pro rate them..
they wanted me to pay over $550. for 4 tires so then I said I'll go to Sam's club and then
the figure came down to $404. well I said I would check with husband, so I didn't buy them came home
checked out discount tires website and these tires are 140. each plus a rebate 40. each, so what
pro ration was I getting??? I ain't no dumb blonde, how dare them that try to rip me off...
anyone else having a bad week???

Got bad news from home, Dad has bladder Cancer, he'll be getting a biopsey soon...
My brothers want me home for the Holidays, and I'd like to go, but air travel is so
very hard on me and so expensive...So my mind is off things for now...it'd be nice if
I could go and see my folks, but I'm in Texas and they are in Michigan (1,200 miles away)
not such an easy road trip...I thinking maybe Christmas, once my daughter gets her break for the Holidays.

  So sorry for your bad news Chart. I sure hope they have caught the cancer in time to respond to treatment.

How old is he? My prayers are with your family. Keep us posted as to any news on him. I understand your

feelings on the flight and dealing with the chronic pain. I had a few flights this past winter and i found them

all difficult. I do hope you will be able to get down there to be with your family.

Honey, I'm so sorry to hear of your dad's bladder cancer.  Hopefully he will respond well to treatment and his health can be restored completely.

Meanwhile, I hope and pray that your pain is alleviated.  Try, and I know it's hard, to be as peaceful as possible in your body and mind to allow your body to heal.  I will be praying for you, your family and your father for sure.

You know that you and I go back some way now and that you are my favorite.  Don't forget you have someone here who cares so much about you.  You have my prayers and I am sending you all the good energy that I can.  Great thoughts for low pain.  God bless.

I'm sorry, too, about the news re: your dad.... I know how difficult it is to travel w/ health issues, too. I will also pray that your dad makes a full recovery. And for your peace during this time, as well.

Well, I had a nice talk with my RA doc and he said 2 of the three falls I had were due to
the RA, he took his time with me and I have a quad cane on order, getting one that
has some shock absorbing properties, and will bling it up of course, I have stickers
for putting my last name on it...and for now I will continue with the mtx (Methotrexate) every
third week till I get built up and done with the prolotherapy.
