My child just had surgery and was prescribed Norco for pain. The prescript
ion is for a 7.5 milligram. I have never heard of this and I was wondering if any of you have ever heard of or taken this prescript
ion. Thanks for yourhelp :)

Hello Harley!
These are Lortab's. (Hydrocodone) Sorry to hear that your son had to have surgery. Hope he gets to feeling better soon.
Take care,

Hi....
Yep, agree w/ everyone. How old is your son? My first experience w/ this was when my 13 year old (now 16) - who's a big guy - had some oral surgery and got Norco. He swears he'll never take it again. It spaced him out....
I just had another have oral surgery - and he got Tylenol w/ Codeine, but he's much smaller - and even that zonked him out.
Good luck; let us know how he does. If he's not used to those type of meds, you might want to have him eat a couple of dry crackers to have something on his stomach.

Thanks guys. My "baby" is 19 and this was his 1st surgery and experience with any type of pain medication. He had a growth removed from above his knee. I have taken lortabs for several years, but I've never seen or heard of these. He seems to tolerate them okay.....but I don't think they are taking care of his pain. We quickly found out that he has to eat when taking these. LOL...
