Hi my family,

I continue to have severe "female" issues (ie - bleeding/hemorrhaging) from having the twins (sorry guys). I'm severely anemic and have had to have 3 blood transfusions over the last several weeks.

I go for a medical clearance tomorrow to have surgery on Friday. Please pray that I'll pass the clearance. My blood pressure is off the charts... I don't know how that will play into it all.

On Friday, I will be having a D&C on a severely scarred uterus and they will place a progesterone filled IUD in there to help w/ the bleeding.

I'm usually a more "take things as they come" type person - but I'm worried... because my health is NOT good.... and I'm scared to have ANY surgery. I'm also worried about having ample pain control. That's a whole other story. Yes, I stood my ground and my pain doctor is backing me 100% - but, no matter, the other docs all think I'm nuts. Oh well.

Thanks everyone. I'll be around until Friday; and then will check in as soon as I'm able.

Tina,

You are in my prayers! I am sorry that you are going through this, and will pray for speedy and total recovery.

I remember what that was like after a miscarriage with no energy, listlessness and constantly being tired. You are one tough cookie to have lasted this year with those types of issues. Doctors who think you are eccentric about your pain control obviously have never had female issues or chronic pain. You must be very strong to be going through all this.

Keep us posted when you can. You are in my thoughts!

I'm worried for Tina as well! shakehead I can confirm what she is saying here, as I have been in close contact with her, and the health issues are serious!

Tina, you have been through more than enough for one person. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you and your Dr's consider this procedure to help you.

Let all hope this will put a stop to some of the female issues and your blood loss will stabilize. Enough is enough right! I'm also hoping that your PM will be doing the pain control for you after the surgery. We don't want a repeat of when you had the twins. shakehead

Hey Tina, wow I am so sorry that you are dealing with such severe issues right now. I had no idea how bad things had gotten. I hope that they can do the procedure on Friday and that you can start to heal.

As always you are in my thoughts and prayers. Please update when you can. Take care hun.

Tina, you have all my prayers, please fight, you have so much to fight for.  I know you can do it girl, so I will keep praying and you keep fighting.

Sure hope you can get that surgery and many hopes it helps...
Make sure to get plenty of rest after the surgery...

I'm sorry what you are going through Tina...

Just wanted to let you know... I had a D&C... and the pain was very minimal.... I was up and walking about the day of the procedure...

I hope that eases your mind some...

Thank you all... your kind words and prayers bring tears - literally - to my eyes.

I do have a bit of fight left in me... but it's fading. I'm just so tired of all of this. My body is tired.... my mind is tired.... I just don't feel like I have much left in me to give.

Draka - I've had a D&C before, too (after a miscarriage) - but my uterus is severely damaged now - especially after giving birth to the twins. I know there will be blood loss w the surgery, even a little - so I'm assuming I'll get another transfusion at the time. And, as Michael said, I went through a nightmare getting pain control after the girls - so I'm trying to get all that in place now.

I'll keep everyone updated, but thanks for encouraging me and for being such wonderful friends.

Hi Tina

I didn't realize the severity of your female problems. I've had a D&C as well after I gave birth to Jessica. I'm so worried for you my dear friend. I will have you in my thoughts and prayers. I sure do pray that you can have the surgery and that it will take care of this problem. Your doctors better take care of your pain afterwards.

Tina, you are in my prayers. I know only too well your fears about surgery and pain relief, but I also know you will get through this, because your family and friends need you. Stay strong, know that you are loved and cared about by so many people, and stop every now and then to just feel the energy we are pouring out to you.

Oh my goodness, I am so sorry for all you are going through. I can't even imagine having twins to take care of as well. I've had my share of gyno problems, incuding anemia and ultimately a total hysterecomy, but it doesn't sound like my problems even compare to the severity of yours. I know how being anemic can make you feel totally wiped out and I remember feeling like I just couldn't get through another day.

Please know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Check in with us when you can and stay strong. Sending gentle hugs your way...
