Hi everyone

Jerome and I were coming out of Dollar General and he was pushing me in my wheelchair. He didn't realize that the sidewalk wasn't even with the parking lot, and I fell forward first and hit the concrete mostly with my hands and my knees. I can tell I'm going to be sore, but I think I'm ok otherwise.

Please keep me in your prayers that it's nothing worse. We just got home. I can walk ok, but my left knee and hand hurt.

Sorry to hear that, Loretta. Just reading that made me say "ouch". Hope you will be ok.

My dear friend, how are you feeling today? Are you stoved up? That is a pennsylvania dutch saying. I fell in our yard 2 weeks ago. Took me a long time to recover. How about You?

Thanks everyone for the thoughts and prayers I'm sore today and my left hand and shoulder hurts, but I'm ok. I've been really careful today. I hope everyone is having a low pain evening.

Hi, I concur, ouch is the word of the month, it seems that way.  Thats the problem when you fall, we are all so afraid of what we have already hurt, it takes a while to find out if we hurt anything else.  I hope you afe better soon.

Falls are horrible.

I was in chat last night around 3:30 am EST. I couldnt sleep. Pain wasnt under control. Nobody showed up to talk.

Loretta....hope you are feeling better today, so sorry I missed your post earlier. Right now were I live everything is iced up. We had a couple of days of warmer weather and then melted everything and then froze at night. I walk very slow as I almost looped her the other night. I hope you are on the mend and not to sore.

Thank you Betsey, Sunflower and Amy. I'm still pretty sore, but I'm on the mend. My left knee and hand bother me the most. When I hit the concrete, my thumb on my left hand ended up with some of the skin ripped up. It is still hurtin' but I'll be ok. I sure do appreciate the support from everyone.

Betsey I'm sorry that you had so much pain and no one to talk to. I'll have to check the chat room to see if you're there.

Loretta...I am so happy you are on the mend. If you are anything like me I just do not want one more thing to ache. Just look after yourself so you feel better for the holidays.
