Pain under right rib thats constant!

Can anyone help?
I have been given the run around for months now! Blood Tests, ultra sound, back, forth and now waiting for an endoscapy and a test on my pancreas and gall bladder.
I have a constant pain under my right rib, and like someone has stuck a knife in my shoulder blade!!.
It feels swollen like i have a golf ball under my rib, the pain throbs and sometimes feels warm, worse when i sit down.
Saw a gall bladder specialist, he thinks my gall bladder is not working properly, there is also a small pylopp in there, but the ultrasound is not clear.
I'm worried it's my liver or pancreas. My liver function and pancreas blood test showed normal, he ran 3 lots of bloods and all normal every time.
I have IBS and i'm always constapated, but this is a very different pain, and nothing eases it, had all sorts of tablets but none work, i also belch really bad after eating or drinking anything!.
I'm going to chase my appointment tomorrow as this is not something i can walk around with for much longer!!!
If anyone has any experience or has similar problems, please post me

Have they treated you for acid reflux as the belching after eating could be a symptom and the pain could be being referred to your back. Try some omeprazole which you can get otc and see if that makes it better after 7 days or so. If that doesn't help then think you need to go back and chase doctors for some answers.

It sounds to me like it's your gallbladder- I had the same pain and was given the run around as well and finally had to insist on having a CT Scan to confirm it was my gallbladder. It was very inflamed and Surgeon told me if it had gone much longer it would have burst, so it was of course removed. I wish you the best of luck and hope you get some solid answers soon!

I have tried omeprazole, lansoprazole and nexim which are 40 mls and nothing!, the whole area is burning, and i have reflexology and she picked up gall bladder on my feet!.
My goodness Fireflyhillary, thats terrible, unlucky you! Thats a scarythought that your gall bladder almost burst!!!, i need to chace this up, thanks everyone.

I had pain on my right rib around my breast area. It was so painful it was difficult to breathe. I had various tests done, I was fine, and the drs. didn't know what to do. They prescribed an inhaler for me but that did no good.

I went to my chiropractor and he said I had a rib out of adjustment. He made the adjustment and the pain was gone and hasn't been back since. That was last summer.
