Hi, I am sorry if I sounded rather harsh, I did not mean to, I am just sick and tired of doctors not listening to there patients. As for you not wanting a pain pump, I dont blame you, there are no guarantees for anything, and having something inside your body is a big step, not one to be taken lightly.
I have a neurostimulator installed in my back, and my suggestion for that is say no, no, no. This thing has been my back for 2 years and has never worked, I am repeating myself with this post, as all the regulors know the story, but it was installed the first time in May or June of 2009, he installed it to deep. So I had another surgery to correct the first one, its still does not work due to the amount of scar tissue built up.
So it sits there, doing nothing at except my bells and whistles go off when ever I go into any type of secure building or the airport. It causes me a little pain due to the scar tissue, but if and when I decide to have it removed, I plan on getting a pump, and of course it wont be anywhere near the neurostim I have in now.
Again, I am very sorry I did not mean to sound so mean, I am not a mean person, after I read it again, it sounded awful to me. Sadly I had already sent it. Please accept my apology, you are where you belong, with all of us who suffer from chronic pain.
Take care and good luck
