Hi everyone
October3 I hope you have been able to find something like one of the creams to help a bit in the meantime. Oh well one more month gone so the pain specialist is coming up at least.
Reactiveconstellation - nice to meet you. So sorry you`re also going through a similar disorder in the male form. Yes, this sort of pain is `unique`in its own way, really debillitating. I agree, gynaecologists were no help to me. We are not taken seriously and/or put in the too hard basket. In fact I`ve actually had more luck with make doctors than women funnily enough, they have seemed to care more.
Silver Head and Macy - nice to meet you. I`m sorry you`re going through something similar too. Glad the cream helped Silver.I have vulvodynia and vaginal/vulval pain which ranges from spasms to a dull ache. I found a cream called xylocaine helped for awhile to numb the area. Also valerian and raspberry leaf teas helped to a certain extent, though the raspberry leaf tea you have to drink a lot of it to feel the effects. Have you been to a pain management clinic?
Well take care. Love Di xxx
