Hello Hillary!
Hey!…I'm so sorry I missed this post and did not get a chance to support you.
You are so Bubbly and Happy most of the time, and I had no idea you were having hubby problems as well. I agree with Tina here, and she usually has some good advice for our members concerning this type of problem. A non supporting spouse is understandable at times, because they have no idea what CP is and how we suffer, ..however!….what you describe here is abuse in my books (mental)….and it may be over for now…but I suspect it will happen again…..it looks like your husband has a deeper issue that needs to be dealt with professionally…and the sooner the better. Please do seek some sort of counseling.
I'm curious as to what dose of Percocet's you were on….and then your Dr said to quit cold turkey? Maybe the Nucynta is supposed to take the place of it…..I have no knowledge of this med…so I'm of little help on it.
….but what has me concerned is the Percocet reduction….and it's a IR med. Have you tried Oxycontin?….or at least a higher dose of the Percocet's? Usually if a med is not as effective as it used to be, Dr's will up the dose….or possibly try the ER form of it like Oxycontin. Can you fill us in with a little more information please?
Again, I'm sorry you were not getting support when you needed it.
Take care,
SE
