Lidocaine overdose/update

I have not posted in several months and wanted to update and inquire..
I have been doing quite well, have been seeing a chiropractor that is helping with my scoliosis and back pain, crohns DX gives me little bumps in th e road but nothing too serious..and I have decreased my pain meds by nearly 50%. I also started giving myself b12 shots to help with the fibromyalgia.
I started seeing a new pain doctor also. That is the second part..
He started doing injections that included Sarpin,( natural ), sometimes steroids and vitamins. He has done these on my back and the entire pelvis for my pelvic and rectal pain. those that know me understand why I have this chronic pain but that is not important.
I would like to inquire about lidocaine toxicity.
I have gotten about 6 months of these series of injections I described above, every time I walk out of there with a buzz.
At first this was fun but when I found myself on his couch unable to drive I resorted to having a girlfriend come along to drive for me.
He weighs me every time before a series (up to 98 pounds)
He does the injections..
I asked for a few more in my neck. He states I have had the maximum amount of lidocaine, I pondered on this. How can a numbing solution be maxed out? so I asked for more. He gave them to me, obviously.
As I am standing in the waiting room I collapsed and couldnt get up. This is the last thing I remember.
They moved me into his office because I went into full blown seizures and started kicking and seizing up with drooling and bouts of repeating. I do not remember any if this only that my girlfriend was covered in bruises and advised me of my behavior. She states it took four people to hold me down. This went on for 2 hours.
I woke to an ambulance being there and getting taken to a hospital which I fought of course ($$$)
I was diagnosed with anxiety and never even saw a dr. It was humiliating.
I went with my girlfriend to her appointment where the doctor states it is because I am fentanyl. I am on nearly 75mcg from 200 mcg for 7 years now!!! I do not even take a break thru medicine anymore!
How can this be true! ??
I have looked up lidocaine overdose/toxicity guess what it states? Seizures, coma death..
I can not change pain doctors for several reasons and honestly I think he is going to "fire" me because I have become a liability. My ambulance bill was $1200 and my hospital bill has not even arrived.
Any help/advise is welcome and I apologize for the long message here..

I also get very buzzed/loopey after lidocaine injections. They give them to me when testing the medial nerve branch area before performing the yearly radio freqs near the L5 region. I can also tell you that I do not sleep with lidocaine patches on because they make me feel "weird". During the day its fine, but when I goto sleep and forget to take it off, it seems like I can hear my heartbeat and it feels a bit offbeat. Nothing serious but just as a precaution I take the lidocaine patches off before sleep and I limit my use of them.

Considering you requested more of a drug that was non narcotic, IMO, I think you have a good case for your doctor to keep you on pain management. Obviously, you have a legitimate medical need and want to treat it with other than narcotic options where applicable, and you use strong narcotics BUT at low daily doses.

You might consider wrighting your doctor a letter of appology, which would show you don't blame him for what happened??

As I have stated I had full-blown seizures. I have a brother that is a nurse who states there is a formula for a dosage of lidocaine. That is why the doctor weighs you before every time he gives them to you.
I have researched lidocaine toxicity and can check every thing on the list that occurred.
I should also bring up the request by my primary physician.
He has recommended I see a neurologist to test for seizures. I have had a very serious head injury at age 15 (160 stiches) from a very serious car accident. Whether the two are linked i am not sure.
All I know is I am not getting the shots again, although i believe myself to have been benefiting from them..I am concerned about my appointment on Tuesday with the pain doctor.
I absolutely will not be writing a letter if apology to him, that is out of the question. What do I have to apologize for?

So I just got back from seeing the PM. He went ahead and did the shots but lowered the dose..5 minutes later I was on his couch spinning and tingling and unable to stand..after 15 minutes I sobered up. I even wore 1/2 a patch today. You would think I would have learned my lesson but I have been benefiting form the shots so much.
Not sure what to do.
