I tried the capsaicin patches on my lower back and guess I left them on a bit too long... It basically burned me and I had scabs on my skin and it took many months too heal...I even have some scarring. Just be careful with them...I think for most they work ok, but for me, mnot so much. Just take care to follow the instructions to a tee and if it feels like you're on fire (as the tube capsaicin did to me) take it off pronto and wash it off yesterday!

I do hope your experience is better than mine was. I may just be a freak of nature when it comes to that stuff.

Personally, I levitated when I tried one of those patches. They are made out of either cayenne or habanaro peppers, I believe. It did NOT wash off and I had burns on my back. If you buy the Capsaicin rub, it even says to use a small amount and work your way up to a full dose. You can't do that with the patches.

I would be very careful...
