The great news is that it doesn't look like there are any fractures or tears or anything wrong with the ligaments, tendons, muscles, etc.
There is just swelling which will go down with time. But that can certainly cause pain as it aches when it stretches the skin.
Do they still recommend that you ice it and keep it elevated when not using it? How about
any anti-inflammatories or a Medrol dose pack (steroids) to help?
I injured my knee back in May and it still has swelling after walking around even for 10 minutes or so....The hard part is that it takes time to heal, especially with lower extremeties if you continue to use them which of course you have to with walking and being upright..LOL
Will you speak with the Dr. about the results and see what the plan is?
