Monday morning √ in

The last week or so has been difficult in terms of my pain and how I've been feeling. Think I'm having a bad flare of my fibro.... plus - from past experience - think I probably have some things off on my blood work. So, going to see my primary tomorrow to run some blood work and so forth.

Thursday, I see my pain doctor. Everything is flaring and I've once again grown tolerant to all my meds, except the oral fentanyl. So, not sure what we are going to do..... I also need to discuss getting an injection for my sciatica..... which is putting me almost in tears several times a day.

Hate when my health issues and pain flare at the same time. On top of all of it - my anxiety and so forth is high too. Not quite sure what that's about. When my patience is gone (and I've got TONS of patience, lol, with 8 kids....) -- I know *something* isn't working right. Going to talk to my doctor tomorrow about all of that as well.

Other than that.... continuing to prepare for Christmas and all that entails. Want to have everything finished this week - so that I'm not trying to run around all weekend. I can't trust my health/pain right now enough to have anything waiting until the last minute.

Today has been a long day. Went to neurosurgeon appt today. While in parking lot I made an appt. for my primary care doc to refill meds that I've been out of for a week... made this appt for tommorrow. Went into neuro office to discover I am mentally addled and my neuro appt is tommorrow. So now I have two docs appt on same day. Later on in the day, I realized I have PT tommorrow.. so now I have to make it to THREE appts..lol. (Had family in all weekend.. I think my mind left in self defense)

I did finish all my christmas shopping today, tho. I did six stores, four with my mother and 2 year old... and two with just my mother. I am definately feeling the "overdoing" I did today, but I am just thankful it's all done.

My weekend was tough, as I had a left sided heart cath on Friday. My right wrist looks terrible, since they used that artery. Good news, even with all my health issues, as the Dr said, "I have the arteries of a 20 year old".

As for this week I was suppose to have friends over for lunch. They were going to bring the food, but my friend mentioned her hubby had a sick stomach. I felt really bad but I had to ask her to post pone seeing me until we were sure that he was over the bug, and that she didn't have it. I feel so much like a "Debbie Downer". I just can't take the risk, I'm not suppose to be around people who are sick I have NO immune system. I'm not suppose to go out and about, except to Dr appointments and pulmonary rehab. I sure hope they understand.

I see my Rheumy on Wednesday and hopefully will get my steroid shot in my shoulder for my bursitis. Thursday I have my Benylsta infusion. Just in time for Christmas, I'm hoping I'm able to be up and enjoying it. We still need to put up a tree, I'm just not in a Christmas mood, but my daughter informed me I'm not the one putting it up, and to stop trying to ruin the day LOL. Otherwise that's it for me for the week.

Hey all, I've been having a bit of a rough time, but I'm making it. I had a very long week last week, but this one promises to be a much slower week. Now if only my son would cooperate lol, it would be smooth sailing. He's decided that he's the boss, so things have been a little difficult trying to teach him otherwise. Thankfully, I finally have a really good support unit behind me, my mom, stepdad, and girlfriend have been helping out a lot.

Marryann, so glad to hear that you can see again, I had really bad arc-flash burn on my eyes in high-school and had to wear patches for 4 weeks, I couldn't imagine having to go longer than that without seeing.

David, read your other thread, glad your wife is progressing, hope everything works out OK on the WC end, and very glad to hear that your eating prob's have settled a little.

Tina, no problem, wasn't sure if you'd make it or not, I remember you mentioned in a recent post that all the mods are having problems, happy to help, just shoot me an email if I can ever do anything.
