Ok so I don't know if this counts as chronic pain but I fractored my left wrist on the growth plate almost a year ago I m still in school and do a bunch of writing ( lucky me I'm a lefty) and at the end of the day my wrist sometimes hurts. It also starts to hurt when I put a lot of weight on it or when I constantly move it. I don't play any sports except in p.e so please help.

Hi an, welcome to Hw. I am assuming your fairly young since you broke your wrist at growth plate and you used the term p.e

So my 1st question is does your
Mom know about the problems your having? Actually a year out having some pain is not out of the norm and especially since it was growth plate involved in the fracture.

You need to follow-up with a Dr to make sure.

Vickie I agree with you here.xray MRI. It maybe did not heal properly. Was there a follow up, was there a cast on? Good luck.

Hi my mom does know I have had problems so I have had to but my brace on for a little bit. I was wondering if the pain may be because my wrist is growing? Thanks for the help:)

You may need physical therapy to correct "protective postures and movements" and restrengthen muscles. But see your doctor.
