The only way a narcotic or benzodiazepine can be filled in a state other then the one it was written in is if the Dr has a license to practice in the state as well.
You should always know if your Dr has multiple licenses as they could be sanctioned in one state and not in another. Info you would want to know.
What I would do is take the script
back to the Dr that wrote it since for whatever reasons they are not responding to the pharmacy. That doesn't make since either,generally it doesn't take the Dr to clarify the script
and anyone that looks at your chart can tell the pharmacy what he intended for you to take. It will say in his progress notes as well a copy of the script
