Vickie, that was explained beautifully. Ideally, that is the idea when RX'ed meds for b/t pain. There were some fantastic and informative replies posted out there. If I missed the one that says what follows, then I am sorry (and apparently unable to read as well) What I wanted to express is this: Listen to your PM doc- CAREFULLY! Ask questions. It can be confusing trying to juggle all that comes with a life of chronic pain. Make sure you understand clearly how your meds are to be taken. Take notes!!! Left to my own devices, I'd have pulled all my hair out by now! If you cannot get in contact with your PM doc and have an urgent question regarding dosing, your pharmacist may be able to help in a pinch. Lastly, and I feel most importantly, listen to your finely tuned instincts. We all know (if we're honest with ourselves) when we are abiding by our doc's orders- or not. If you're not sure, there is no such thing as a stupid question! Be sure...better safe than sorry! Thanks all out there trying to be of help to someone in need. Anyone who feels attacked or takes something personally, keep in mind that most of us have good intentions and mean well, even if it doesn't come across that way. Sorry 'bout the lengthy post! Thanks for reading!
