That's not too bad at all then for both the costs of the medication as well as the procedure. Is your PM an Anesthesiologist? Or will he have to have one in there for the procedure?
And if that is too much to afford, I would speak with the Dr. as they can decide to discount the amount or even set you up with a payment plan.
When our state started requiring a yearly urine test for all patients on controlled substances, my PM knows that I am self pay without insurance and he works it out with the lab to write off the entire amount which is close to $800!! Just like my regular appt. every 3 months...the price is normally $150 but he discounts it to $75 for me.
So all you have to do is talk with them and see what they have to say.
