hi y'all. I just wanted ta ask those of u who pray ta please pray for five yr old josh. He's broken his jaw. He slipped climbing the ladder to a set of bunkbeds. His momma's been on him over it but he snuck off and done it anyhow. They're wiring his jaw shut Thurs. Please keep him in ur thoughts as well as myself. But him first and always.I'm a nervous wreck! Lord when it rains it does surely pour. The beds have been disassembled but as we say here in ky , it's a day late an a dollar short now. I know many of u good folks will grant my petition . And I'm obliged greatly to ya. Thanks icgirl steph

Oh, ouch! There's nothing worse than a little one in pain! I definitely will keep you both in my prayers! Also praying for the doctors that work on him will have just the right bedside manner to make this the least traumatizing as possible.
One thing about
little kids - they almost never take it as badly as the grown-ups in their life do! :) When my son was 4 he rammed his leg into a flat piece of metal about
2" wide, it bled like crazy and we rushed him to the ER. While he did cry like crazy when it happened, once the Dr. started working on him he actually became fascinated with the big needle used to numb it, and he thought it was really cool watching the doctor stitch it up. Surprised the heck out of all of us lol. A lot of it was credit to the doctor that was on call - he seemed to know just how to engage a four year old boy, he later became the kid's PCP because of it.

Hey everyone thanks for all of you're prayers and support. I'll keep ya updated this week. Told my hubby, and we got him some pediasure for all of his vits and min support as well as pedialyte ta keep him hydrated. He's restin comfortably now. I tricked him with ice cream mixed with the pediasure shake and said it was a milkshake. He don't care, it's good! He likes it yummy he says. so far so good. Keep him in ur thoughts and thanks again. icgirl Steph
