I would like to get any feed back I can on the use of marijuana for pain control. This topic is not discussed much here. I think it should be discussed. There are currently 19 states with medical marijuana laws. Florida will have it on the ballot in 2014. Do any of you use medical marijuana and if so does it work? Lets discuss this. Thanks!!

Not legal here in NC. I would try it if it was. Touchy subject for some.

Touchy subject yes but aren't pain killers frowned upon as well. Marijuana is NOT ADDICTIVE and pain killers are. Marijuana does not kill people and pain killers do. Don't get me wrong I take pain killers for chronic pain but I believe times are changing. We should be receptive to other therapies.

Our administrator does not allow discussion of medial mj on this forum, legality notwithstanding. Perhaps you could take this discussion to e-mail so the mods won't have to lock the thread.

Shaw, this is an excerpt from HealingWell's Rules:

1. No discussion of any illegal activity or threats of violence (ie. illicit drugs, including medical marijuana, threats of suicide, self-injury, or physical harm). Discussions of suicide and self-harm are not permitted.

Absolutely not allowed to be discussed openly at HW. But can be discussed privately via e-mail or phone, as some members I know have in the past.
