Hi all! Did I miss something? Has anyone heard from Screaming Eagle or know how he is doing? Just wondering....

Splash, I was getting a little worried too! At first thought he was taking a hiatus which at times we tend to do but coming up on a couple of months now??

I looked back and he was emailing me a few times a day,reread them, didn't see anything that I missed so I I had emailed him twice and no response? Do have a phone number and will look for it today and see if I can find out anything.

Im sure he would appreciate your thinking of him.

Yes, I agree. It was like he just disappeared. I don't remember him saying he was taking a real vacation or even a vacation from HW. Hope he is fine, if you are able to make contact.

I add to the concern as well. He and I have become pretty good friends, and I can't get him to answer me in an email or text message. I am thinking about calling him, to see if he's ok. I'll let ya'll know if I talk to him.

Well at first I was just curious, but now I think I'm a tad worried. I'm sure he's ok tho - life just tends to get in the way of things sometimes! Lol But hopefully one of you that has his phone# will be able to reach him.....

I was also thinking of a couple of others too, from 'the old days' - Dani for one. Pete (haven't seen him in a long time either!) hadn't even heard anything from her, the last time I contacted him a while back - and they were pretty close. She was so ill and I actually think of her quite often. And also PAlady!

Hope we hear some good news about SE soon!

Crossing my fingers that everything is okay. I too was wondering about his absence. Especially since it seemed he was back to posting regularly.

Those of you who have his number, keep the rest of us posted please! Hopefully the collective powers of HW prayer will strike again!

I got the same thing, voicemail! I know the last he was here they had just gotten new IPhones and assume the numbers didnt change?

Loretta have you tried the number you have yet? It's not like him to stay away this long so I'm a bit worried as well.

Michael has been doing ok pain wise with some down days here and there. He has had long term problems with his internet and therefore can't post here.

Petey has had severe pain issues. He just recently had a hip replacement.

I was starting to get worried as well. At least it's a computer quirk and not anything serious. with all the puter issues I see round here maybe I should start being a mobile puter fixer, LOL!

…I'm so sorry!….I had let Tina and a couple of other members know, that I was doing quite well health wise, but that my computer, and mostly mine….absolutely refuses to hook to the internet. At times I could get on, for maybe a page or two of reading…but then it would quit again. This has been the biggest thorn in my side and has been going on for at least 5 to 6 months or so if not more!

I have been emailing using my iPhone only, and of course work, has taken the internet away from us. (actually blocking most all internet sites) …so getting here to support has been almost impossible. I also tried to use the iPad, using my iPhone as a hot-spot, but even that was not working well.

Dont ask me to describe it, but I'm on my own line of sorts from the router. I'm still not satisfied with the results, but it's better than nothing. I got so disillusioned with the problems before, that I just quit trying, and it was not a high priority on my wife's list of things to do. I generally work 7 days a week, and didn't have much time to work on the problem either.

There is not a whole lot new with me, other than I feel pretty darn good, and pain levels have been decent to live with. I do have my days though! A combination of meds has been the trick for me, and I'm so very grateful that I have been an active advocate for my own pain issues. Of course, my Dr has been listening to me, and has been willing to script meds that I have asked about. So, no complaints there.

I see lots of new faces, and hope to get to know you all very soon!

Now, lets see how long this connection will let me access the forum this time!

To be honest - I didn't know how you were currently doing health-wise, but I did know you were having computer problems @ home.

I didn't even see this thread until Suzane had posted that you were ok....

Anyway, I didn't want people to misunderstand and think I was purposely not reporting on someone! I've also learned - awhile back - that people take breaks for various reasons -- and sometimes they don't want to share publicly all that's going on.... that's why I didn't do updates on the other people that were mentioned here.

Well - it's good to hear your pain is under control -- that's always a good thing. Hope you get your computer issues solved.... and things start working better for you!

Glad to hear things are going well...You've definitely been having these computer problems for 9 to 10 months now! It's terrible that they can't figure out the issue by now....Sure hope you aren't paying for full service each month to your provider!!

I would be lost without being able to go online when I need to! Same thing with my voicemail, Skype, email and text:) All my life lines to my friends and family! So that is just awful that you are having trouble with all of these things....


Hope things continue to be good health wise and you get the tech things sorted out soon!

..we had a tech guy here, and he said he had never seen anything like it. Really? We do live by a major power line, but one would not think that it would single out a single computer.

I have missed several friends, but often resort to my phone for a backup….however it is extremely hard to support the forum with a phone as a only source of internet..

Snowy….if I didn't know any better….I would say you are supporting another agenda with your comments.
