Sometimes the hardest thing to do, is to make yourself do something, especially under the conditions that you are dealing with. Proud of you for the stamina and effort it must have taken.
I know the feeling, even though I haven't been able to work in over 5 years now. Every morning, I start with a mental list of things I need or have to do, and there are times, that I have to use so much sheer will power and mental power just to physically get up and get started. It would be much easier at times just to give in and say, screw it, not going to do it, and I could justify it, but I struggle and push and push myself to get most things accomplished.
However, that drive ends at some point in the afternoon, when that overwhelming invisible wall of fatigue hits me. Its like having a battery that suddenly discharges completely without warning. Once it hits, I am toast for the rest of the day, and that's when I time my afternoon nap. It's my only hope of making it through the evening once my wife is home from work.
Some days, when she is extra beat, she will come in and join me for a short nap when she gets home, which I love.
I give you a lot of credit for the push you did, you should be proud of yourself for the effort.
