Spinal stenosis w/ chronic pain getting worse with no insurance (long)

I know just what youre going through. Ive have back problems since I was 18 now Im 36 and was recently diagnosed with spinal stenosis. In July my back went out on me where I couldnt walk at all. I tried the free clinics here in Maryland where i was directed to the PAC PROGRAM since im single with no kids im not eligable for medicaid. Well tge program took 45 days to approve me, all the while I layed immobile in agonizing pain waiting bc emergency rooms just doped me up and sent me home. Now that i have pac i thoughr it would help me. I finally get an MRI in which they find bulging disc along with the stenosis only to be told the pac program will not cover any specialist cost. So im referred to a nuerosurgeon and pain management doctor. I cant see. In 2014 the pac program turns to full medicaid meanwhile the pain gets worse and the depression grow stronger. PLEASE PRAY FOR ME

Tony welcome to chronic pain at HW. Im so glad you found us here because these are awfully compassionate people and there are decades of experience and information here that could help you.
