Check online under morphine? Check online where? Which website. I've Googled morphine 30, morphine 30 discontinued, morphine news... I can'tfins this anywhere.
There are changes regarding how much acetaminophen can be in compound drugs and that change will take place in about
60 days but it's been a long time coming.
Can you post the URL or webpage?

Hello and Welcome.....
I don't see anything where they are dicontinuing the 30mg of morphine.
As Linds said - they have until the 1st of the new year to lower the amount of acetaminophen in compound meds..... but that's pretty much it.
There's no news that I can find, particularly concerning morphine. Morphine is lower on the list than other, more frequently abused drugs....
If you can give a link to what you are reading online, it would help! Or just tell us the name of the webpage....
Thank you - and again - welcome! --Tina

Mercy&Grace just posted a link about
them changing the composition of the morphine and the 30"s was the one I read about
. They intend to add the med to it so it cannot be crushed, chewed, or injected and doing so would send you into the worst withdrawal you could imagine sine the additive is an opiate antagonist!
Hello Sly and welcome to HW and the Chronic pain forum! Glad to have you and unfortunately you fit the criteria for CP after all those years! Always hate "welcoming " someone to this life, doesn't seem right!
Its an awesome place with terrific folks and I know you'll feel the same.

I am on generic MSContin 30mg and just picked up my prescript
ion today and asked the Pharmacist and they have not heard a single thing about
it going off the market or changing the ingredients. My PM at our previous appt. never said a thing either...
