Spreading Pain with possible infection

symptoms started 6wks ago I have traveling different pains that come & go.  LEFT side facial burning no rash or redness then left eye burning and slight pressure, neck pain. eye exam vision getting worse put some yellow drops to which burned the area that already is burning.  checking for any numbness pressed and my teeth had pressure no pain.  had dental ck up xrays showed that area inflamed and a retreat apt for root canal. burning, stinging, glands, shoulder, chest pain like pleurisy. centered from base of skull spreading outward.  i'm really exhausted.  If it continues I am going to see the dr I don't want to have an infection and left untreated.

Please get yourself checked. A dear friend of mine went to the ER with tooth pain and she had an abscessed tooth. They pulled it and didn't give her any antibiotic and she had a stroke a week later. This happened shortly after new year and she's still in rehab. She's had to learn how to walk and talk again. This is all from an infected tooth!

I'm sure her story is rare but its better to be safe than sorry. I hope you feel better soon!

Dottie, too many different things going on to ignore this, please do get in to see your PCP as soon as you can. Better to be safe than sorry.

The fact you've got so many things going on but yet they seem to center towards some glandular thing and you dont want an untreated systemic infection. Especially if it all started with an abscess tooth!

If the infection moves thru your body it can become septicemia and very difficult to treat.

Please see a Dr soon and get some lab work done.

I have symptoms trigeminal and occipital neuralgia with VZV 40yrs + Herpes Virus 39yrs.  I also have attacks on old injuries from stress or a new injury even mosquito bites, a few days after.  My nerves are Demyelinated. Is there Dr who has a treatment or a diagnosis?  I am having one of the worst attacks ever I have already lost 4 teeth all on my left side NON on my right side YET  I don't think my tooth which has no pain even cold or hot is the cause but an affect of what ever I have.  I am so depressed with all the changes from Pain meds to Insurance and not knowing why my HEALTH going down hill and I have been seeing good drs just haven't listened to me about the above and apts are so far apart!

Dot try an Infectious Disease Dr at a University hospital.

That's their specialty.

my pain was not going away it was so intense I called my PCP apt nxt day. I went to ER I was admitted 5hrs later. I along with others who had been admitted were in the hallways waiting for a room. I was in ER from 10AM 1104 to 5:30PM 1105. If it took that long and it's not even 2014, we are doomed how many care providers will quit due to "ACA". I had very good care every level. My pain was hard to get down and keep it there for more than 2hrs. they have now changed my pain meds I got discharged on the 10th! Pain meds are still helping the original symptoms I still have but the pain is tolerable!

Oh Wow Dottie I would not have had your patience in waiting!! I probably would have left an empty bed in the hallway of that ER!

Glad your doing better and sorry it took a hospital stay to get you on the right track.

I want thank nvrthesame98 for the advise.  I have been asking for years ALL dr's I have seen over the years tell them all and on the medical history I include that.

I am getting scared the other symptoms are still up close and not friendly.  I have been getting sinus headaches which causes pressure and the pain meds I am taking as prescribed.  I take zyrtec helps some then I take clonazepam.  I tried infectious disease dr not taking new PT.  checked with Stanford need diag of CFS and my medical records faxed to review and will call me if they?  I don't have a sinus infection I have no nasal congestion or fever.  It gets so frustrating ok depressing feeling like a full septic tank.

also you don't need nasal congestion to have a sinus infection, you could have a mass in the cavity or ur head, when I was younger I had a sinur mass that had to be drained it was in the front of my head . I would get horrible head and neck pain . an MRI will rule this out

well they did MRI head ER they said there was something so admitted me. My Neuro looked @ them said no worries about it. I cant sit up without having a pillow to rest my head on hurts.
