Thanks for sharing more...I have a few close girlfriends who have had this same surgery removing the tumor and then the sentinel nodes or the ones from the armpit area and they didn't have a PS or need any type of reconstruction.
The surgeon usually does such a great job of having a tiny
opening and then getting the tumor/nodes out.
But that is great that your insurance will cover PS!!
And that is wonderful that you were able to make the appt. and go to the second Dr. already and everything is set! And fitting this in by the end of the year instead of the regular scheduled surgery in Jan! That makes a big difference with the deductible..
It's nice to have some good news in the midst of dealing with this:)
