Sharp pain in my back from cupping

Hi everyone,

Back in September, I went to a Chinese medicine hospital. I have been having throat issues, and in September it was so serious that I would try anything. Expecting to experience acupuncture, I was instead told that I need a massage. Why? I have no idea. The massage involved cupping, something I had never experienced before.

There were about six cups involved, I believe. Afterwards, I noticed that there remained a strange, tingling sensation in my left shoulder blade area. It persisted every day for months. I didn't really care too much because, to be honest, sometimes it felt good, like a light massage.

However, yesterday it hurt, like a sharp, stabbing hurt. Today, the pain remains.

My guess is it's neuropathy, but I'm taking large dosages of neurontin for my throat issue and haven't noticed anything.

What are your thoughts? How concerned should I be?

The strangest thing. After that intense (that's probably an exaggeration--"annoying" but also "painful" would be appropriate adjectives to use) pain in my right upper back--from the cupping, I'm sure--it has suddenly disappeared. As if it went out with a bang and now it's gone. I still very slightly feel it, and think it will come back. But for now, it appears to be gone.

After reading a comment on internet in one of the blogs, I went to Dr in Banaswadi Bangalore and got treated through cupping therapy.

This is really a miracle. Today, my reports show as PCOD negative. I am so very glad. Thanks to Dr. I will always remember them in my prayers.

Indeed God has given Dr. a divine healing power, definitely healing hands.

Before reaching out to Dr.I had tried various other treatments and was very disappointed.
