cymbalta has been great for me...

i got slight dizzyness in the am for a month... then it was all good..

the trick with all the neuro meds is you gotta start slow...

when i started i broke open the capsule and just took a few grains for a few days till u get used too it...

then titrate up.

unfortunately with these type of drugs its all trial and error.

Hello, I am not sure where you are reading the reviews but keep in mind we all metabolize our medications differently so this does not necessarily mean any of this will happen to you. All meds come with side effects as a rule & these usually go away in a couple of weeks.

If the Cymbalta does not help there are other nerve meds to try like Lyrica & Neurotin to name a couple.

I have found Cymbalta to be a Godsend for nerve pain. I can take 90 mg of it compared to 1800 mg of nuerontin and get 500% better results.

Cymbalta helped me feel GREAT!! I took it for pain and depression associated with it. I have pain rooted in work and autoimmune issues, and as a result one condition I have is hyperhidrosis (diaphoresis), extreme sweating. The Cymbalta's effects exacerbated that so badly my shirts would be so wet you could see my dry bra outline. Sweat poured off of me like I had just come out of a swimming pool. The sweating had already been an issue once when it was out of control and I was hospitalized for dehydration because of a combo of the hyperhidrosis and vomiting I got severely dehydrated. It was 3 days before my urine output returned to a level I could be discharged so as soon as the Cymbalta started that sweating I had to discontinue it. It's a bummer because it REALLY made a difference, I felt a lot better.
