post surgery symptoms of little finger

hi
i had a fracture to the midde phalynx of my litte finger(pinky finger) .
even after 25 days of surgery my finger swells and becomes numb sometimes but after i take rest and get up in the morning it looks better .
i am pursuing my b-tech 4th year and has a tight schedule of classes through out the day , so obviously no rest.
My finger even gets discoloured ,it gets black
is this due to blood clotting ?
are these symptoms normal or abnormal ?
