I have noticed lately a large number of new member posts or even regular members posts falling to the bottom of the page with no response or just a mod response to it.
Please make a conscious effort to at least welcome new members.
Thanks to you all.
I just joined and haven't noticed but thank you in advance from us "newbies". I've been scouring the posts and resisting the temptation to post "my situation" until I find out which questions are the ones that get asked over, and over again.
I think if us new folks are a little more patient & careful before posting that we can help from our end too. Granted I know the feeling of desperation-- like it took for me to join here and make the conscious decision to become active. I don't have time or money to waste going down the wrong path and hopefully I can help the new people to "learn to fish" rather than handing them an easy meal like us new people really feel like we NEED.
I contemplated starting a new thread about
being truthful to a new pain management doctor. For example shall I be truthful in the fact that I have self medicated with something that is legal (in some states) and found fair relief from it. Is that something a pain management doctor would flag as "drug seeking" rather than seeing it as "desperation" and giving up on the DEA harassed (scared) doctors that look at chronic pain sufferers as hypochondriacs or drug-seekers.
Anyway, thanks.
