Checking in today because I don't know if I'll be able to get on here tomorrow....it's going to be such a busy day....my mom's services were on Friday, the burial is tomorrow morning and than it's getting everything I'm going to need ready for my stay in the hospital on Tuesday....surgery is Tues. morning...I'm the first case! It's been a long hard week this past one with dealing with pain..both physical and emotionally...trying to stay strong for my dad. I'll check back with everyone as soon as I can to let you know how my surgery went.

Good luck with your surgery on Tuesday. I am sure you will do fine. It's normal to be scared, everyone is scared when it comes to any kind of surgery. When you start feeling overwhelmed takr deep long breaths, you will do fine.

Allow yourself time to grieve the loss of your mother. Remember to think about the good memories you have of your mother too. Both of my parents are gone now & I still miss them just as much as ever before.

Just wanted to say I hope everything goes well with your surgery and recovery!

Will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. What a stressful week. I am very sorry about the loss of your Mom.

Try to get some rest and relaxation both before and after your surgery. Will help your healing.

Good luck with your surgery.

I'm so sorry about your mom. I'm actually going through that now as well. She hasn't passed yet but most likely will be within the next few weeks. I know what a toll that can take on pain.
