please respond day11 alveolar nerve pain wisdom tooth removal

Im new wasnt sure how to use site so I started new post...so april 21 had 3 wisdom teeth out...lower left wad sideways +surgeon did mention nerve damage...I went for it anyway and you know the story...so ive beem lurking every successvstoru I could find because im scared to death! Id love to know thay this will get bettet...not knowing is so hard...so im very numb on chin...like its asleep...theres tingling...one thing thay seems to have gotten better is it doesnt feel as heavy...it used to feel like I had a wad of tobacco in lip but like a golfball...what seems to be worse is the three teeth feel like their being pulled by pliers...with advil + percocet...so im on b12 + b-complex..idk I just want to discuss my situation with you all and hear some good stuff...1st question: do you think the teeth pain will ease up???

Ouch! I dont have experience with teeth problems like that but hopefully that will get better. Did your dentist give you any idea? Please keep on posting and let us know how things go.

I'm so sorry you are having to deal with the teeth related pain. I had oral surgery 2 weeks ago (for a totally different kind of problem) so I know how awful mouth pain is!

I think Susie is right, you really need to contact the oral surgeon. If it is a problem with a dry socket that can definitely cause a lot of pain. Whatever is going on, you need to get it checked out--don't wait for it to get better on it's own. The numbness, well, stuff like that often improves over time, and it sounds like it has already gotten a bit better, but mention that to the surgeon as well.

Please do make a call to your oral surgeon very soon. They are the only one who can decide/determine what's going on and how to treat it. You shouldn't be having so much pain after 11 days. You need to find out why this is happening, to lessen your pain and to be sure that the problem doesn't get any worse.

Hang in there! It will get better, but you really need to get things checked out! Let us know what happens.

Sorry to 'pop' in here in again, but I just feel so bad for you having to deal with this kind of pain ( dont get me wrong all pain is hard ) teeth and nerves and all...I just cant wait to hear what your dentist will do. My thoughts and pain free vibes are with you! KUP!
