Well I sent my doctor a letter thru the internet...that's a new thing we have here where we can view test results, schedule appts, connect with the doctor with questions, etc....anyways...I explained to him in my letter about the pain I've been having in my right leg and the left side of my neck and asked if it could be connected to the ACDF surgery I had 5 weeks ago.....he called me this morning and has scheduled me another MRI for Monday evening. I am really hoping it's not something else....ugh....feeling so down right now sad

Sorry to hear your still having problems but it sounds as if your surgeon is on the ball and at least taking the new pain seriously enough to warrant a look!! Good luck and hopefully this will end up just being deferred pain from the surgery and nothing else.

Hi cinfullangel, I to am sorry about your pain, but am glad that your surgeon is going to follow up on it and try to find out what is going on! I hope this up coming MRI give you some answers!

I feel your pain and am so sorry you are still in pain. I too just had acdf surgery 6 weeks ago and am in severe pain in my neck and still have numbness in my right arm and hand, as well as electric shocks down my arm. I am going to a new ns on tuesday the 10th to hopefully get some help, (my current ns is absolutely useless and thinks there is nothing wrong with me, will not do an mri or any X-rays) I wish you all the best and hope you can figure out what is going on...

Sorry you're in such pain; I hope the tests show it's just your body dealing with surgery and not something else. It sure does seem to pile on, one thing after another, sometimes, for those of us whose bodies are struggling, doesn't it? Sending you best wishes.
