I go for my first ultrasound therapy appointment today. I'm really hoping this works. I know it will take it awhile to work but hopefully it does work.

I ended up in the er last night due to flank pain. Apparently I have some small kidney stones but they are still in my kidney so they don't think that was causing the pain. They think I may also have a uti but they urine sample I gave apparently was contaminated. I have to follow up with my primary. They did give me some dilaudid for the pain last night and a rx for a few norco.

Also for the past week my stupid migraines have been acting up. I've had a constant headache which seems to be getting worse rather than getting better eventhough I've taken my meds. So I've scheduled an appointment with my neurologist for Wednesday.

There is just no winning is there?

I am so sorry about your constant headache and constant pain. In this days I am constant pain too, and a very weird headache and constant internal spasms like if It were some force stretching my stomach and bowel. I understand you very well.

One question: when you go to ER, did they do you a blood analysis, was the result ok?.

When I go to ER and my blood work is ok, they send me to my home with tylenol :(

They did do bloodwork. It came out fine. My liver was ever so slightly elevated but not even to matter at all.

Since your bloodwork was ok, what do they did to you?, they gave you dilaudid and send you to your home?

Yeah they have me 2 doses of dilaudid some zofran and sent me home with a rx and told me to follow up with primary. They said I had small kidney stones and possible uti.

Hi Whatx,
Did they tell you why you have flank pain if its not the stones? I am also having constant flank pain since surgery 4 months ago with no blockage so I was hoping for stones in kidney as possible cause.

Also how did they diagnose your abdominal nerve pain? I am also having chronic abdominal pain on the affected side more like flank area but not sure where to get proper diagnosis

They said the stones wouldn't be causing the pain cause they are still in the kidney. They just said it could be an uti.

The nerve pain was cause by an open surgery I had. It took a couple months to diagnose and that was only after I suggested that as a possible cause. They had already done pretty much every test they could on my abdomen to try to diagnose the problem and couldn't find anything wrong. No one even considered the surgery as a cause.

I would be careful with the Norco if you are having migraines, may cause rebound headaches.

I will thanks. I'm normally ok with norco though. Percocet is very bad for my migraines.
