Dragoness, please see an orthodontal surgeon, it will cost you $80-$100 for a consultation but well worthit if you are loosing teeth. Seizures in sleep should be checked by a sleep center. There are a surprising number of theses out there, just google : sleep center and you will be able to find one near you. I realize these things cost $ but you need to get this issues addressed by the pros. . . . Q

I was in my mid 20 & in nursing school when I had all of my top teeth putted in 1977. My regular dentsit did it in his office & put the dentures in right after he pulled the teeth. I've never had one bit of trouble and I still have the same set of dentures. I'm 60 now had this done 37 yrs ago. The only thing I regretted was not having it done sooner.

The reason I had them pulled was because they were causing me severe headaches that was interfering with my education.

Dragoness, after I had mine pulled I went on to remarry & have 4 more children, I traveled, worked and had a very active & full life until about 10 yrs ago when I became physically disabled and couldn't return to work.. The one thing that did surprise me in the beginning was that no one knew I had dentures, unless I told them. With the new technology I'm sure the dentures and other options are better than they were in 1977. And as I said I've got the same dentures my dentist put in when he pulled all my top teeth in 1977 and I've never had any problems with them.

Insurance was different when I had mine done. So you will need to check with your insurance company and see what they will cover.

Thank u for the encouragement...I'm never scared...just tht I've had spinal meningitis twice...disabled at 27...lost 200 pds...still not married..four kids 2 grown...and my youngest son is autistic just wanna try To b ard for him..and my four grands...and tak c of my parents who are disabled and retired...and my unc..I just buried frm cancer...so REALLY thanks for all the info...my life iz full of experiences and learning abt myself..and courage is my flame...brave as a knight..tht wll..survive...
