Hi Flower,
My wife and I have been on SSDI since 2009, I'm Dxed with prostate cancer and my pain stems from its treatment. My wife is like you, a grab bag of symptoms that have most definitely disabled her but no solid and sturdy big case Dx. She feels as though she doesn't/shouldn't be considered disabled because she lacks a big Dx. Do you see where I'm coming from?
I have to tell her that the combination of symptoms, like torn rotator cuff, torn bicep, DDD, Foraminal stenosis, arthritis, and a bunch of other nasties gained from several years of construction type work, have ganged up on her so that she is now in the CP club. I don't think that a lot of us CPs have just one thing wrong, most of us are all over the charts like yourself. When you put them all together with, usually, a nice dose of stress on top it can finally overwhelm you . . . Q
