My Current Pain Management Doctor is the 1st one to prescribe me enough Pain Medicine.
It's not so much the strength of the ER med but the fact that she prescribed me 4 break-through pills a day.
I take 10mg Opana twice a day and 2 mg Dilaudid four times a day.
It's my understanding(may be mistaken) that the Opana I take is equal to 20 mg Oxycontin.
The PMD I was at last year prescribed me 30 mg Oxycontin x 2 and I was still in pain.He didn't prescribe BT meds though.
I think it's the fact that I'm able to keep a therapeutic level in my system all day.
Like others said I think you should discuss this with you Doctor. How long have you been taking the 75 mg patch?
edit:I also take Soma, usually in the evening. It's great for relaxing the muscles in my back that are tightening up and spasming as I type.
Hope y'all are having a relaxing evening,
Rick
Edit: BluAngel, you may be thinking of Actiq, which was mentioned in a Thread. It's Fentanyl, but in an instant release sucker.I believe it's pretty strongThere's also Fendora,a fentanyl tablet which is instant release also.
