greetings everyone. haven't been on in quite awhile so i thought i'd pop in and say hello. to all the new members that have joined healing well during my absence, welcome aboard.
well i'm asking for some prayers to my wife kelly and i. we had a death in the family alittle over a month again. october 9th we lost our 17 year old son. were not really sure what the actuall cause of death is
until the toxicology report comes back. its been a very trying time for us all and especially kelly. please say a prayer for us.... sad thank you all very much.

I'm so sorry Mark and coming from a Mom who's lost a child I know those words are useless in the scheme of things. Support your wife in her grief and know there's no right or wrong way to do that and you both may do and some things that make no sense but it's OK if it helps even a little to ease the pain.

Oh Mark I'm so sorry that you lost your son. I've lost children as well, and words just can't describe the pain. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Very sorry to hear about the loss of your son. No one should have to go through that. Will be keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. If there's anything we can do, don't hesitate to ask. Be sure to do what you need to do to take care of you during this tough time.

I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a child is the most horrible thing and I don't think the wound ever really heals. I lost my son when he was 14 so I can definitely relate to how you are feeling. Take the time to grieve and don't feel that you have to be strong. This is a time when you should not be afraid to cry or to reach out to others. Try not to shut others out during this time like I did. I know it's hard watching others go about their daily lives all laughing and having a good time when your life just crumbled around you.

This is something that you will never "get over" but it does get easier to deal with as time goes on. I would encourage you to talk to others that have been through this. It helps to connect with others that can relate with you and does help the healing process. Again, I am truly saddened by your loss.
