Injections in Facet Joints.

Hi to all

I have been to Pain Clinic this Morning n Consultant was not happy cus when I went
Previously I was not given facet joint injections because of my blood sugar I was given one today which hasn't wore of yet I have to rest for 24 hrs tho.

I will be going bk for another one under xray in october.too just hope they are going to work all my joints are hurting too.
So I am flaked out at min my back has been like this for past 20 years after having 5th child.

So hopefully this is going to work.

Hello Dolphin, I hope things go well for you. I've had 2 sets of facet joint injections so far. Each lasted about a year. The last set has worn off though and I will need to see my PM in order to proceed. This is a different one than had done prior injections so we may try something different this time. I've been told I am 'unusual' in how long these last for me, but I am tiny and that probably has something to do with it.

Hi I also have impingement syndrome n am having an op in August in my shoulder wonder if I will get relief from injections I had today dunno will here to see.
