I've gotten three calls this morning, this is how they start:
Me: Hello
them: Hello,
Me: whats this about, please
them: we are calling about your computer
Me: What computer
Them: your Windows 10 computer
Me: Oh, you mean I won a computer
Them: it's about your Windows 10
Me: oh, so when do I get my computer
Them: hanging up!
Gosh I just wonder when they'll send me my Windows 10 computer!

Wow. How annoying!

When the local paper calls me repeatedly to ask if I'd like a subscription I ask them when it started coming out in Braille?

I upgraded two of my computers to windows 10, all I will say is read up on it (pro's and con's) before doing it. I wish I had done it first. I think it is better than windows 8, but not near as good as windows 7! I think there are a lot of privacy issues with windows 10 unless you disable allot of things in it. Just my personal opinion though! Just read up on it and be totally informed about it before you make the upgrade!

Chart bending down is still the hardest part of doing things for me, since my knee replacement last December! I still can't get down on my knees, or even bend that right knee enough to reach or see things under the couch! ( as when my dogs toy ball goes under the couch and she can't get it!) I have a heck of a time trying to get it for her! I end up having to lay down on the floor to retrieve her toy ball, and then I have a heck of a time getting back up! It kills the lower back too! So Chart I can definitely relate to what your talking about! Next week I see the VA physical therapist and they are going to take a look at it to see if they can help me get more movement and mobility out of that knee!

I use Linux Ubantu, or a mac, but never Windows...and the phone scam you could tell they were foreign, they had an India accent...not feeling good today...migraine and asthma are both starting to come back...

The Florida folks will appreciate this one. The timeshare and resort salesmen here are the most aggravating! They want to sell me a timeshare at the greatest prices in the worlds most visited vacation spot? Really I sure will consider packing and taking the trolley beachside two times a year or maybe I will just walk home at lunch everyday and change clothes!

For all the real tourists who are virtually harassed by these salesman while vacationing just tell them your debit card is prepaid and the sales pitch will cease immediately!

The door to door salesmen I have learned to handle very well. When they want to sell siding, windows or whatever along those lines just say we rent!! They stop dead in the middle of their speech & will apologize for bothering you, lol.

I am the official run off the salesmen at my house. My husband cannot tell someone no & get rid of them. Oh no, he will holler Susie, come talk to this guy, honest he really does this. So, one evening we had just sat down to eat & there went the doorbell. I was not happy to have to stop eating & see who it was. It was someone wanting to sell something like siding & wanted to know if we were the home owners, out of my mouth came the line we are renters & he stopped mid sentence & was gone, lol. It worked so easy & then I started laughing telling my husband what I had done. It works like a champ folks. To this day that line still works.

I had to do a practice drive today, so I can get to pt. The other car will get a jump start and taken into the shop by my husband as it refused to start.
I did good, but tomorrow will be the big drive as I will have to drive home as well and its also the first day of school. Laying in bed again and hurting and trying not to focus on it...kitty demitri just popped up and wants his petting time...wish we luck tomorrow my 2nd time to drive since surgery on August 3rd...starting 4 the week...

Yes, I did so so on the driving was really hurting by the time I got home, but learned a new move in pt that is supposed to help with the driving.
I saw RA doctor today and he said with my mixed tests results and the letter from 1994 showing a referral from a foot doctor for further testing to find out what was causing mu feet to swell and he now believes it's UCTD (Undifferentiated Connective Tissue Disease) with Sjogren's...The raynaulds and acid reflux also can be caused by UCTD and I will see him every six months now to be monitored. Not sure if I have RA yet...weird...if you could see my feet swelling...I just hope to get that in control for next year to fit into the shoes I have for the Mother of the Bride...
I get botox for migraines on Thursday...I will face the pain again tomorrow ot once again drive to PT...the heat also got to me and I was sick to my stomach when I got home yesterday...
Busy all weeek with appointments and I'm tired...
My right knee feels warm to the touch by everyone and I keep getting snide remarks about that, is that normal, I usually run cold cold hands and feet and left knee is not warm to the touch...so I'm confused right knee had the surgery...???

After Total Knee Replacement my knee was warm to the touch for months. Hope your pink tape helps!

I'm so sorry that you're not seeing the results as fast as you'd like. I noticed that you mentioned they think you may have UCTD. If that's the case you know it may be affecting your healing.

I can't remember if you're taking prednisone or not, but if you are that slows our healing time down too. As you know I've been on prednisone almost 15 years now, I fractured my pelvis in March, and I'm still dealing with terrible pain and the latest x-ray shows some calcification of the pelvic bone but I'm not even close to being healed yet. According to the Orthopedic Surgeon it may never heal totally, that's due to my steroid usage.

Hang in there, I'm praying for you and I know this is hard. Try to focus on those beautiful shoe's that you'll be wearing next year. You'll be able to get in them, I'm sure of it. Many hugs to you and the family. Please take care of yourself and I'll be praying for you.
