hi all. winter sore, blah blah. mentally a bit at a loss. my internet is playing funny buggers as well. I guess I am struggling. putting things in place. the pain is almost comforting in a demented manner, sort of saying, hey your still here. sorry, I know wrong forum, bugger.

Are you getting sleep? Do you have a warm blanket to cuddle up in?
Those winter time blues are aweful, but try reading a good book. Or listen to some good tunes or write another poem if your up to it...

thx char. am playing tunes, weather is good today, thus I walked and got a stopper for my spare stick. just took some clothes of the line. sleep is still chaotic, need new mattress, working on it. hope you are doin' well mate.

Glad the weather is good for you. I guess your sleeping problems are contagious as now its after midnight here and sleep is not breaking down the door to come to me. Summer is just Starting here, so far a hot week in the 90's....I hope its a good day for you today and that you can get some sleep tonight...

So wishing you could blow some of that cold our way!! We are in the 90s weeks into June with 100% humidity so real feels sitting close to 100+. The wind when it blows off the Atlantic is like having your face too close to the oven door when you open it. Draining if your out more than five minutes. Homebound for now since the heat and humidity play havoc with my breathing issues.

Add to the fact that the entire state of Florida has a cloud of sadness hanging over it from Sunday's senseless loss of so many young lives. If it wasn't already grief stricken enough yesterday a gator pulled a toddler into the lagoon at one of the Disney resorts and the very same first responders who worked diligently in the Pulse have now been working around the clock looking for the baby.

You can't go to Facebook or turn on the tv or even get gas that your not reminded again of the loss of lives. The only thing that feels right is the sense of caring coming from all. You hug your kids a little closer,call that friend you haven't for awhile and dig a little deeper in your pocket for whatever you can offer to help people bury their children who they never expected to have to do.

So here's where I understand what you say about the pain being almost a comfort,reminding me that somewhere under the madness I'm still here,still the same and nothing has changed for me under the surface. Its almost calming,comfortable,familiar in a strange world.

Peace Jamie the sun will rise again and the cold will pass through and your battle today forgotten.

Hey Turtle.It's around 100 here in the Deep South.Very Humid.Enjoying the air conditioning and the locally grown produce.

Thinking about getting some Honey from a local Bee Keeper.Need something to give me some energy.Something natural.I take enough pills.

Vickie, I understand the constant reminders of a tragedy occurring.

When the VT shootings occurred here, it was impossible to escape and go an hour without being reminded. This is a small town, and it seemed that almost everyone had a direct link to the university-we did as well.

Until Orlando, the VT shooting was the largest mass shooting in the states, and no one wanted to pass that distinction onto another invent.

great session. increase in escitroprolam, (Lexapro) a/d. has some work for me in the future, some peer work in the psych unit. it is in it's infancy. he said today that the med students are all a buzz for my return and are still talking about the last 2 lecturers. he said he would like me to discuss ECT. it's use is on the rise here. so been out and about. keep well.

That's great Turtle.Talking with others and playing my acoustic and singing for people is very Therapeutic for me.

It's hard to explain the feeling.But,it almost frees me from my body,and the "prison" it has become.

I'm so happy to hear that you're doing that and will have a chance to do so again.

We're all survivors here.We've all got a wealth of knowledge that was gained the hard way.We live it.

Some of the "Hands" that have been dealt to several here would cause many to fold.

But we go forward.Trying to find solutions to our problems.

We don't complain.We take action.

That wasn't learned overnight.:)

You go Turtle.I meet my buddy over at a local Pub.Their outdoor patio is kind of his office.Sit and BS with him.Known him 35 years.I'm not much of a drinker anymore,I take so many Meds it doesn't mix well.

I'll have a Cheeseburger and a Beer about once a Month.A glass of Wine at Family gatherings.

You're an intregal part of HW.
