Thanks for the tips) the advices were great! I thought I was the only one to scare of becoming a narcotic. Now trying to work at home - do general things, cleaning, some cooking just to turn my brain off and stop thinking of all that electric impulses in my foot

Hello again Gretmar. All I can say is if you took a poll here in this forum every person would tell you when they first started this journey the fear of being on a narcotic was at the top of their list. Never in a million years did any of us ever think we would be where we are today. However, at the same time we all need some quality of life & if it means taking a pill to have this, then so be it. Do not sell yourself short. Yes, you can build up a tolerance to any medication taken long term, this applies to all medications.
Depression & chronic pain go hand in hand. Get the depression under control & most likely your pain will improve somewhat. There is a medication called Cymbalta that can be rx'd for depression & nerve pain. This may be something to consider. Talk to one of your drs about the depression, do not let it get out of hand you have too much to lose. If needed get professional help for the depression.
A little tip on posting, if you will click the little pencil icon you can add sentences of paragraphs to an existing post instead of having to make a new post for a one or two liner, lol.
Keep us posted on how you are doing. Take care.
