Possible TMD/TMJ ?

I posted here a number of days ago for what I thought were some allergy symptoms I was experiencing, but am starting to feel like things aren't adding up. Mainly that my scalp has been sore (sides & top) and that antihistamines don't seem to have an affect.

Rather than being dry, my eyes have been had a dull ache to them, and feel very tired. My neck has also been sore and I'm getting tension headaches frequently. Has anyone had experience with resolving this kind of pain? I used to have migraines, but this feels different. I had dental work recently and have an appointment to revisit that provider.

Doctors have ruled out infection, and labs/vitals look very good. Until reading about this condition I hadn't really gave attention to the fact that my jaw pops/clicks at times. I could see a mouthguard being useful for sleeping, but not sure what to do about the soreness that comes from eating/talking. Tylenol helps, but I can't take NSAIDs (like ibuprofen) for medical reasons.

Thanks, appreciate the reply. I should have phrased my post differently because I didn't mean to say that allergies aren't causing my congestion, but I don't think they explain my other symptoms very well. Where it gets complicated is that my eustachian tubes are working poorly and I'm not sure how much of that is allergies, and how much of 'ear pain' is actually from my jaw.

I think I need to see my dentist anyhow because my gums are still sore, but it's good to know about the dental coverage.
