Pyloric stenosis surgery 29 yrs ago. Adhesion pain now?

I had PS surgery at 4 weeks old. 29 years ago. Ive had a strange pain in the left upper quadrant of my abdomen and Gerd. Had several scans. Enptying test. Scopes from both ends and theyve found nothing aside from incidentally finding fatty liver and barretts esophagus. I wondering if someone could describe the pain of adhesions and is it possible to miss partial bowel obstructions on a ct scan?

Well with the surgery they cut me on the lower right for access then they remove a wedge from the bottom of the stomach. I just feel like that creates 2 places for adhesions to grow and the stomach does sit slightly to the left. Im just trying to find a reason for this pain and have been unable to.

No thats just what they do when someone has PS. They cut a wedge shape from the pyloris at the bottom of the stomach.

You're both correct. When they open up the swollen pyloric passage ring-muscle, they cut a lengthwise slit into it which makes it gape open as if a quadrant piece has been removed from it. But nothing is actually removed in this procedure. And adhesions could well explain the pain you mention.
