adams apple pain?

Hey Pitmom, sorry to read another issue is happening. My first thought is maybe it's a gland inflamed, strictly a wild guess. I would get in to see my pcp to get it checked.

Hopefully it will be nothing, just get it checked.

It hurt only when I touched it.
I did some searching online and can only surmise it was a result of eating potato chips and getting one stuck in my throat at about that level. It must have had some swelling as a result, although I couldn't see a significant difference. Thankfully, it has resolved after hurting for three days!
I had no idea it could be a sign of thyroid problems. My daughter has a nodule, so I think I'll have my pcp check, just to be sure, at my next upcoming visit.
